Fantastische Erfahrung: The boss and his team consisting of physiotherapists, trainees as sports and fitness clerks, and DHBW students are all very friendly and personable. Professionally, they all make a very good impression and always have an open ear for questions or concerns. The equipment is really excellent, for endurance training there are treadmills, crosstrainers and bicycle ergometers available. There are several machines for strength training for all muscle groups. There is also an area with barbells and dumbbells, Powerreck, cable pull. There is also a large climbing frame in a separate room where you can train with your own body weight, Pull-up and climbing bars, gymnastic rings, slings, dip bars, etc. When I used to train in the Veamed One for 1 year, all I missed was a machine for my calves. In the meantime, however, there is also a massive device for this. All in all, the devices are in top condition, clean and well-maintained. Due to back and foot surgery, I've been in the Veamed One's physiotherapy for several years. The practice is small but nice. The therapists do a very good job. I would also like to mention AlterG, an anti-gravity treadmill that NASA developed to allow faster recovery from injuries. After my second operation on my right foot, I trained with it and I'm thrilled. You won't find such a device here in the southwest, I was told that one would only be available up in Frankfurt. At the moment the Veamed One is quite a construction site that could scare one or the other who is there for the first time. Due to the corona pandemic, this will probably drag on for some time. When the renovation work is completed, however, a lot of new things will be available such as indoor swimming pool, sauna and various devices for health-oriented fitness.
