Fantastisches Erlebnis: Ambitious large-scale project with an uncertain outcome I consider the SGCube to be a highly ambitious large-scale project by the wine town clubs. The total investment of up to 6.5 million euros is both an opportunity and a risk. The opportunity is to raise the SG Weinstadt club to a new level and to create a new central sports facility for all generations. The risk certainly lies in the enormous amount of investment that has to be made for the SGCube. Nobody can say with certainty how well the system will ultimately be accepted by the members and whether it can actually be operated profitably in a few years. I think it is worth criticizing that the SGCube can initially only be used exclusively by members of SG Weinstadt. I understand the ulterior motive of this step being to bind new members to the association. However, this excludes a potentially large group of people from the outset. The young generation in particular is now more used to the monthly subscription model - be it on streaming platforms or in the gym. I think this initial path is very risky because you have to use the SGCube very intensively (several times a week) to make the (additional) membership worthwhile. In addition, I wonder how many club members want to use the SGCube in addition to the club's actual sports program and are willing to pay comparatively high monthly costs. Certainly it may be advantageous for a certain group of people to get everything practically from one source in one place. However, if you only need a section of the offer, it will often be cheaper to go to the local gym. The regular price of 54 euros / month (in addition to the annual membership fee) is already a board, but in view of the high investment amount, it is probably necessary. I do not agree with the reduced price of 44 euros / month for pupils, students, etc. In any case, I do not know any person in this group who could afford such a monthly price. Here the offer should urgently be improved. Also, a "ten card movement landscape" makes little sense if you simply have to pay ten times the unit price. I am very excited to see how the project will develop and I wish the leading participants every success!
