Fantastische Erfahrung: Very, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet with a large selection and the option of 3/4 board that can be booked on a daily basis (bookable snack with hearty soup, dips and baguette as well as 3‐course dinner). The food in the evening was also great. The only small thing: the WiFi leaves a lot to be desired. And another tip for potential guests: Don't judge the inside of the hotel from the outside. The public areas (and many of the rooms - could see some rooms) are new and very comfortably furnished. The wellness area, on the other hand, is just great, especially if you catch the times when it's less busy. There are as of (August 2022) four different saunas (one barrel sauna outside) and more under construction. Overall, you just get the feeling that everything at this hotel (including the staff) is geared towards ensuring that guests have a great stay. In our case it was more than successful. We will be back! As an additional plus point: Directly from the hotel you have access to various hiking trails. (Note: the hotel and rooms are gradually being upgraded - we had an already upgraded forest side apartment. This was great as it was very spacious and comfortably furnished (including a fridge).

Fantastische Erfahrung: Very clean and cozy hotel. The employees are all incredibly nice. Attention is paid to details. A great massage team. A great breakfast buffet... no wishes remain unfulfilled. The four-legged friends are also thought of here. If I had to complain at a high level, the water in the pool should have been replaced. Otherwise there's nothing to complain about. The breakfast buffet and dinner were great. The SPA area was also very positive; clean and hygienic. We will definitely be back next year and are already looking forward to it.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Super nice reception, they knew about our son's allergies, which he had been informed about by e-mail, and they responded to them. There was a bowl ready for our dog, along with a pack of food and treats that we had put together ourselves. We don't know this from other accommodations, just great! The food offers a huge selection, almost everything tasted excellent. The pool was a highlight for our son, we didn't use the rest of the spa area. Our room was functional but showing its age, but that wasn't a problem for us. The fairy tale forest nearby has already seen better days, but was still great for the little one. There is a playground, a petting zoo, a small tourist train and of course the stations where famous fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm are told and presented. The visit was definitely worth it. A walk to/at the Radau waterfall is also highly recommended, the nature is beautiful, only the paths are difficult or almost impossible to master with a stroller. Overall a very nice short stay. Should we be drawn to the Harz again in a small group, we'll be happy to come back here!

Fantastische Erfahrung: We booked the 3/4 gourmet board and were more than satisfied! The hotel is beautifully furnished and integrates the partially still old elements of the house really nicely. The rooms are comfortably furnished, everything was super clean and it was also nicer on the forest side with a balcony! We were able to really relax and slept very restfully :) you can also tell from the little things that the hotel pays attention to sustainability. For example, if the room was not cleaned in between (conservation of water resources), a bottle of water was given for free. Mega good! The food - breakfast and dinner buffet - was incredibly good! After the first evening we were always looking forward to the next meal because it was just so delicious. The service in the restaurant was super pleasant, friendly and courteous. The staff at the reception also gave us a friendly welcome and accompanied us through our stay. We also liked to use the sauna area and the swimming pool. Everything was clean, also nicely furnished and when it got busier, you could switch to different relaxation areas. We have nothing to complain about, we would love to come back and recommend you to others! :)

This time again a new room, which reflected the Harz flair, great and with so much attention to detail. Fantastische Erfahrung: As a solo traveler with a dog, I had a wonderful, relaxing short break at the hotel. The room faced the forest, was a bit dark, but was quiet and pleasantly cool at over 30 degrees outside. Both breakfast and dinner have a great range of delicious dishes ready, vegetarians also get their money's worth. The lunchtime snack filled you up with various soups, baguettes, dips and cheese, sausage, and there was also cake. The wellness area was beautifully clean and tidy. The hotel is ideally located, because you can quickly reach the center on foot and even easier to reach beautiful shady hiking trails that start directly in the forest, which can be reached via a private road. In addition, all the employees in the hotel were very friendly, attentive and committed, a top service! There was a large, clean water bowl in the hotel room for the dog and some treats - very nice. So we would love to come back!

Fantastische Erfahrung: We stayed here for the 2nd time at the beautiful Hotel & Spa Seela. It certainly wasn't the last time either! This time we were there for 5 days / 4 nights. You can do a lot on foot: hike, take the castle cable car, visit the brine thermal baths or play mini golf. This time we mostly had the 3 course menu where you could always choose from 3 variants. Each time the food was really tasty and beautifully presented. Like last time, the staff was very friendly, cordial and accommodating! Here the love is really in the detail...whether in the spa area, beauty area, fitness room or the restaurant. A small point of criticism / suggestion for improvement: we had a packed lunch prepared for hiking for €9.50 per person. The cucumber was in one piece (cut small would have been nicer), the bread and the egg were wrapped in cling film. Here you could save plastic by packing the whole thing in a lunch box! Then it can also be placed on the lap on the go and eat more easily + the food cannot be crushed in the backpack. Otherwise again a very relaxed, beautiful stay and much praise to the entire Seela team.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We have been housed here in house 2 since Monday. When we arrived I first thought "well, that could be something". It was. From the outside... well. From the inside.... Wow, great. Modern, clean, furnished with great attention to detail. Welcome at the reception warm, professional, caring. "For God's sake, hurry up and drive your car to the parking space we booked. They'll write it down quickly. Your wife can check in." The room without words. Colors of the ceiling and curtains and wallpaper reflect the colors of the resin. A look through the window confirmed that. Forest view balcony. Bathroom a bit small but functional. Those who do not need housekeeping every day will be rewarded with a bottle of mineral water. Restaurant: great! Food, service, ambiance. Attentive, the guest is spoiled in a friendly manner and with a lot of charm, to write served would be an understatement. Man also liked to joke a lot. My wife and I have certain food allergies that were dealt with very well. Nothing was missing. Food 1a. The colleague in the kitchen and his team enjoy their work. great quality I can judge as a chef myself. It was my wife's birthday and it was even properly celebrated with a lovingly set table. What really impressed us is that it's really being diligently expanded, renovated and improved. This is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Seela, about half a year apart, and we were really surprised and delighted at everything that has happened and changed since then. You also keep discovering small details that have been improved, which shows that you really think about it and take supposedly small things seriously. Very nice and lovingly designed hotel. Beautiful spa area with growing sauna area. Rooms are functional (we had an unrenovated room, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs). I would particularly like to emphasize the range of food, as there is always the option of choosing vegetarian and/or vegan dishes both at breakfast (buffet) and at dinner. The food has always tasted very good. There is a very good and large selection of different foods for breakfast. Nothing was really missing. The menu for the evening was varied and there were dishes that you don't eat every day, so that every day got a fine end to the good food. Fantastische Erfahrung: We stayed in the hotel for four days just before Easter 2022. We particularly liked the very friendly staff both at reception and in the dining and spa area. The idea of ​​being rewarded with a bottle of local mineral water if you don't have your room cleaned is praiseworthy. So both sides benefit from it. Very well! Overall, you can see from the hotel that it is an old building, and the path from the parking lot in particular should be renovated. After all, that is the first impression as a guest. The furniture, on the other hand, is new and invites you to linger in various places. My personal highlight was the fitness room. All the equipment here is new and represents the current state of the art. There is even a huge flat-screen TV. Top! You like to work off the calories from the excellent food of the 3/4 board, by the way. Summary: At this hotel you can see that not only money is taken, but also invested. I have no hesitation in recommending staying here!

Fantastische Erfahrung: We stayed here with our 1 year old son in April. From the outside you don't really suspect how beautiful it is inside. It is very modern and stylish - the deer can be found everywhere as a design feature. I think it's very nice how accents were set there with many colors. At first we were a bit jittery as our room faced the main road and I'm not exactly a sleeper. In the beautiful modern room (the bathroom is a bit old, but still neat + bathtub) there were 2 bags of earplugs as a small gift :-) In the end it wasn't so wild and we slept well. We attach great importance to food, and we were not disappointed here either. On the one hand, we were able to see the evening meal in the "Hotelpost" in addition to the weather report and cocktail recommendations, which increased the anticipation even more. There really is something for everyone at the buffet, lots of vegetarian options and the homemade bread was the finest. We got the tip from the hotel director that you can also order a vegan menu instead of the buffet. TOP! The breakfast also left nothing to be desired, there were also vegetarian and vegan dishes. We were VERY impressed by the staff. Whether emofang, housekeeping or service I myself worked in the upper sector for a few years and sometimes you take a closer look. The service staff was excellent, maintaining calm and quality despite the Easter rush - very professional and pleasant. In addition, everyone was very nice. The kitchen staff were just as commendable. It was always checked whether something had to be refilled, at the buffet something quickly ran out and refills were promptly there. One of the chefs made me smile, a slightly older lady - always grabbed one of the kitchen staff (men only), and instructed them to fill the plate according to their wishes and bring it to the table without asking. There she stood with the plate at the ready and waved it around under the nose of a young gentleman, asking him to serve her whatever food she wanted. Since he wanted to take care of refilling and didn't react immediately, she threw the plate back on the stack and cursed lightly to herself. He took care of her confidently and did everything to make her happy We always got the same table and the high chair was already there at the table. We also used the indoor pool, we were lucky that there wasn't much going on. Another reason we chose this hotel was that there was a playroom for children. Unfortunately we couldn't use it because it was to be renovated :-( In the area there are many nearby possibilities to make your vacation. In 300m distance was a fairytale forest for children, to the treetop path, the cable car to the castle hill, so many hiking opportunities. A beautiful wildlife enclosure on the golf course and lots of shopping. So we are very satisfied and say thank you for the great holiday!

It was our wedding anniversary and we were surprised with a great 4-course menu, a huge bouquet of flowers and a very personal card from the host. That touched us very much. We have never experienced anything like this and we travel a lot. Even in the evening, when it was quiet, you could still play billiards in the Waidwerk and, by the way, it was free of charge. Fantastische Erfahrung: We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (2 adults + infant). We had an apartment with a connecting door, which had not yet been completely renovated. The reviews here were often bad. We cannot join them. The partly older room was in no way disturbing and it was super clean and nicely furnished! It was very spacious and you felt right at home. The food was great - be it breakfast or dinner. Only the cake for the afternoon snack was not ours. The swimming pool is wonderful as is the rest of the optics in the hotel. Especially the renovated corners have become incredibly beautiful! Only downside was the daily parking fees. But we don't want to deduct a whole point for this.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We stayed 3 nights in this super great hotel. Family vacation through and through. Everyone got their money's worth, despite the modest weather we were never bored. Many attractions and especially the conclusion with music and dancing on the terrace had something of apri ski. Great people and a great atmosphere rounded it off perfectly. The food is insane. Whether vegetarian or other preferences, everything is taken care of. Our dog gets its own bowl and treats. Dog towels to dry wet fur. It left nothing to be desired.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We arrived at the hotel unannounced on a cold winter night. We were immediately warmly welcomed and taken in. When we described our small problem the next morning, we were taken care of immediately. The problem was that our car got stuck in the snow in the middle of the forest. The boss himself (a very nice man) immediately got ready to go and got the company bus ready to go. Now we drove with the boss and the caretaker into the forest to recover the vehicle, with ervolk! The joy and fun we saw the two of them was priceless. Conclusion it is taken care of immediately if you need help and even gladly. I would love to come back to stay a few more nights!

We stayed in a double corner room plus, which was lovingly and stylishly renovated. Overall, a lot has happened in the hotel - you can see beautiful decoration everywhere - suitable and modern. The breakfast buffet is very extensive - an automatic panncake machine rounds off the buffet ;-) If you get hungry in the afternoon - the restaurant has a small snack for you after a long hike. Another highlight was the small mulled wine stall ;-) Even at dinner there was nothing left to be desired - delicious, modern cuisine in several courses. Thank you for an unforgettable time, a wonderful wedding anniversary and the New Year's offer. We got off to a very good start in the new year. Everything is very modern and comfortably furnished. Once there we went to the terrace with fire, mulled wine and fresh waffles. The so-called afternoon break. We ended the evening with a fantastic buffet (something for everyone) and a drink at the bar. The hotel also has a sauna area, swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. We had a relaxing stay.

The rooms were beautifully renovated and comfortable. My partner and I use the bar and sauna extensively. I'm looking forward to the expansion in the wellness area. I was surprised how quiet the hotel was as it was right on the street. Our rooms were on the forest side, where you couldn't hear the street, but you couldn't hear any cars in the restaurant or bar either.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Very nice hotel stay in November. We felt very comfortable - our dog was also welcome! The spa area is great and definitely sufficient. The breakfast selection made everyone (including vegetarians) happy. Dinner was great with a good selection. I'm not allowed to stay there for more than 4 days, otherwise I'll need new clothes. Good opportunities to go hiking without moving the car. But don't forget your provisions, out of season we also stood in front of locked restaurant doors on the mountain.
