Arca - "Die Bäckerei"

Fantastische Erfahrung: I started training at ARCA after a two-month trial subscription followed by a mandatory contribution month (just read the conditions ). The beginner courses gave me a good introduction to the sport. There are enough courses every day, so that I haven't had any problems spontaneously participating in them so far. The short and crisp courses are perfect for working out in a time-efficient manner. Even if CorssFit boxes are generally very expensive, ARCA is a comparatively cheap alternative (especially with their student offer.) The trainers and members all make a sympathetic impression and usually make an effort with the coaching.

Fantastische Erfahrung: As I arrived in Hamburg I was looking to join a gym or Crossfit box. Tried many other establishments but never got sticked to one. Right when I stumbled upon Arca I joined and fell in love right away. It’s the best decision I could have taken regarding my physical well-being. Must give it a try!

The trainers are great, respond to the individual fitness levels of the individual participants and motivate and push the members with every single workout. Fantastische Erfahrung: Good introduction to the topic of crossfit. Particularly suitable for beginners and people who are interested in crossfit. At the moment, on-site training is of course not possible, but workouts for at home are provided via the app. When the box was allowed to open, there was also a hygiene concept for safe training in 2020. The trainers are dedicated and lead through the workouts well. The community is also very good. You get to know people quickly during training. The 2 month trial training is unique in the fitness industry and anyone who does not want any further membership can cancel without problems at the end of the trial period. If you miss that, you will have a paid membership, which can be canceled on a monthly basis. Membership can be paused in the event of illness. This gives you maximum flexibility. Membership is paused for everyone during the lockdown phase and there are no costs. You have to register for the workouts in advance via an app. This is of course different from the usual fitness studios, but I think you get used to it and set up a rhythm for yourself.

Positive Erfahrung: Top trainers, always in a good mood, good workouts, you push each other properly, mistakes are usually corrected. Only the price is steep in the long run, therefore 1 star deduction (but quite cheap for CrossFit). It's definitely worth it if you have the time to go regularly.

Positive Erfahrung: The trainers know it's fun, but you have to plan 4-5 days in advance to be able to train at all, the reception counter was not manned when I was there.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Super CrossFit box and great coaches - highly recommended!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Great Crossfit Box with a nice community and very fair conditions in comparison to other ones around Hamburg. Did two months with 18 booked courses here and didn't regret a single one. All of the trainers are obviously fully certified and are always competently supporting everyone in every kind workout, be it Beginner Intros, Mobility, Endurance / Conditioning or Olympic Weightlifting classes. At the same time the fun isn't cut short and I would recommend this course to anyone (regardless of state of fitness or experience with crossfit). Lastly, I felt like the customers' feedback is taken seriously, so that for example course planning has been adapted as a reaction to such. Many thanks especially to headcoach Dominik for some awesome WODs and safely guiding me through learning new and challenging movements!
