Positive Erfahrung: Haben zwei Nächte als Berlinurlauber im The Base verbracht. Sehr ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Das Frühstück ist echt grottig. Ein aufgebackenes Supermarktbrötchen mit Aldi Schinken und Käse, der nach Kühlschrank schmeckt. Mein Mann hätte gern die Haferflocken warm gemacht bekommen. Er hat dann ca. Eine halbe Stunde warten müssen. Kaffee wurde am Sonntag gleich gar nicht gebracht, nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen haben wir dann die to-go Variante gewählt. Der junge Mann, der alles allein machen musste kann nichts dafür. Wenn ich weiß, so und so viele Gäste möchten frühstücken, dann stelle ich mich darauf ein. Unser Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig. Und wir haben unser Auto immer im Wohngebiet abgestellt.

Positive Erfahrung: Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Saubere Zimmer. Sehr nettes Personal. Jammern auf hohem Niveau, es könnte etwas früher Kaffee geben. Jederzeit wieder.

Positive Erfahrung: Defekte Heizung im Bad. Volle Heizleistung welche nicht regelbar war. Kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Duschkopf unsauber. Probleme beim Auschecken. Kein Zutritt mehr zum Zimmer obwohl im Zeitrahmen. Lage Zentral mit guter Anbindung ÖPNV sowie guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Mitarbeiter im Frühstücksservice sehr engagiert. Preislich gut aber mit Verbesserungspotenzial. Rezeption war nur am Freitag besetzt. Samstag und Sonntag Fehlanzeige. Das Personal spricht teils deutsch oder nur englisch.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Sehr modern und sauber. Alles was man für einige Tage in Berlin braucht ist da. Gute und ruhige Lage. Kleines günstiges Frühstück möglich. Gute (160 cm Max. ) Betten, großes Bad mit Regendusche. Wir hatten das „The Grand“ Zimmer gebucht. Wir kommen wieder.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Schöne großes sauberes Apartment. Es wäre gut wenn etwas mehr Geschirr vorhanden wäre . Leider war das Hotel telefonisch nicht zu erreichen und wir konnten nur über Umwege ein Zimmer buchen.

Positive Erfahrung: Wichtig dass die Betten sauber waren. Keine Ablage im Bad, erst mach 7 Tagen werden Tücher gewechselt bzw. Bad und Zimmer gereinigt ,wir fühlten uns unwohl. Frühstück ist eine reine Katastrophe, Kaffee nur braunes Wasser, alles andere weniger als mittelmäßig. Preis Leistung stimmt nicht. Bäckerei um die Ecke doppelt besser und günstiger.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Pankow hat uns sehr gut gefallen. The Base ist gut und ruhig gelegen. Sehr gut öffentlich zu erreichen. Schönes sauberes Zimmer plus Möglichkeit den Fitness Raum zu nutzen. Insgesamt werden wir sicher wieder kommen, da wir so überrascht waren wie schön und wie zentral The Base ist und Pankow.

Positive Erfahrung: Wir waren schon mehrfach in diesem Hotel. Preis Leistung stimmt. Zimmer sind top. Service gibt es so gut wie keinen. Check in ist schwierig. Standort für uns toll, weil unsere Tochter um die Ecke wohnt.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I lived at the Base for approximately a year and a half and had an overall very positive experience. The environment is calm and welcoming, most essentials for a comfortable daily life are readily available, and the staff are consistently professional, kind, and helpful. The location is also fairly convenient. There are, however, a few points that could be improved. The rent is relatively high for a 19 m² room, and during my second year, the quality of the cleaning service noticeably declined. Although the new cleaning team followed the same bi-weekly schedule as the previous one, the standard of their work was significantly lower. Their visits often consisted of only a minute or two of vacuuming and mopping, which was insufficient. Despite raising this concern multiple times, no effective improvement was made. Shared spaces, such as the Mexican kitchen, were also affected. For example, the ovens were rarely cleaned properly and were often left in poor condition. Despite these shortcomings, I am giving the Base a 5-star rating, as my overall stay was enjoyable and the experience largely positive. Thank you, the Base. I wish you continued success and hope to see further improvements in the future.

Negative Erfahrung: Für einen Urlaubstrip habe ich das Base besucht. Das Zimmer war zu zweit leider etwas klein und sehr spärlich bestückt. Außerdem konnte man die Hitze nicht aus dem Raum bekommen, da es nur dicke Vorhänge gab, welche den Lufteinlass erheblich verringerten (und das im Frühling). Der Service ließ ebenfalls sehr zu wünschen über. Ausgenommen unserer Anreise, war die Theke kaum besetzt. Und auch die so beworbene Bar, war kaum besetzt. Die Preise hier waren ebenfalls sehr hoch. Das Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wir hatten es nicht vorher dazugebucht und mussten so für jede Kleinigkeit extra bezahlen. (Das Ergebnis war hier sehr viel kleiner, als gewünscht). Ein normaler Kaffee war hier ungefähr 0,3 ml groß (und das bei ca. 5 €). Mein Fazit: Für den kurzen trip hat das Base gereicht, doch ich werde mich kein weiteres Mal für es entscheiden.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I stayed at The Base Munich for a month and a half, and my experience was excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant—ideal for both short and long stays. The room was in perfect condition: comfortable, well-equipped, and with everything I needed to feel at home. In addition, the common areas are well maintained, and the staff was always kind and helpful. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for comfort and a great location in Munich.

Fantastische Erfahrung: wunderbar, mal was anderes als das Uebliche in Pankow, das Konservative wird durch internat.Flair junger Leute aus d weiten grossen Welt frisch angehaucht.Sie haben das Ziel Leuten das Herz zu oeffnen.Allein das grossflaechige Café im Hof urgendwo versteckt ist ein Muss.Wlan, hippe Getraenke, intern.Beduenung, was im Wedding schon lange gut laeuft, faesst Fuss, Pankow darf auch etwas Studentenflair haben bzw offene Menschen anziehen.Sicherlich finden auch Familien hier ihren Platz, doch lasst Pankow leben und nicht einschlafen.Base beweist, dass es geht. Ekne Moeglichkeit fehlt evtl im Angebot, guenstige Preuse f Zugereiste d Angehoerigen zu Familienfeiern in Pankow. Viele wollen im Hotel uebernachten, anstatt in kleinen Wohnungen.und Pankower Familien sind oft auch gross, sodass sich das fuers Hotel am Ende lohnt.Zimmer 30 Euro und sie fliegen zu Scharen ein. Danke an due nette Fuehrung eben.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Μείναμε στο ξενοδοχείο κατά τη διάρκεια του ταξιδιού μας στο Βερολίνο και πραγματικά μείναμε ενθουσιασμένοι! Ο χώρος είναι πεντακάθαρος, μοντέρνος και πολύ προσεγμένος σε κάθε του λεπτομέρεια. Από την πρώτη στιγμή νιώσαμε άνετα και ευπρόσδεκτοι. Το ξενοδοχείο απέχει 10 μόλις λεπτά από τη στάση του μετρό. Είναι σε μια πολύ όμορφη και ήσυχη περιοχή. Αυτό όμως που έκανε πραγματικά τη διαμονή μας ξεχωριστή ήταν το προσωπικό, το οποίο ήταν πάντα ευγενικό, εξυπηρετικό και χαμογελαστό. Ιδιαίτερα ο Lorenzo ήταν εξαιρετικός! Μας βοήθησε σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε, ακόμα και με λεπτομέρειες. Αφιέρωσε χρόνο, ενδιαφέρθηκε πραγματικά και η βοήθειά του ήταν πολύτιμη. Ένιωθες πως δεν κάνει απλώς τη δουλειά του, αλλά ότι θέλει να σε κάνει να νιώσεις σαν στο σπίτι σου. Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ και την ελληνίδα φίλη μας για την επίσης πολύτιμη βοήθεια της και την καλή της διάθεση! Σίγουρα θα ξαναμείνουμε εδώ στην επόμενη μας επίσκεψη και το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Positive Erfahrung: Ein super modernes schönes hotel . Sauberkeit war in Ordnung im Bad an den silikon Rändern könnte mal frisches silikon hin oder ein wenig besser geputzt werden dennoch alles in allem sauber. Ich hatte ohne Frühstück. Da in der nähe genügend Cafés waren . Für 1 bis 5 Nächte ein tolles hotel . Ich würde es wieder buchen .

Fantastische Erfahrung: Lovely place with lovely people! The base is placed in a great and quiet location with beautiful parks surrounding it. The staff are all lovely people, and always available to offer a helping hand. I would also like to give some extra credit to the community manager Lorenzo who glues the whole community together, every new residents can feel included with him around. Can recommend this to any new (or old) Berlin visitor!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Lovely modern hotel in a super nice neighbourhood. Many restaurants, cafes, playgrounds, even a shopping mall nearby. The metro station is a 12-minute walk away. The hotel itself is nicely designed, it's got quite a large lobby and a huge patio with bbq (not sure you could use it at this time of the year) where you can chill. Will surely stay again next time I'm in Berlin.

Positive Erfahrung: The room was nice and the bathroom was clean and tidy, but the main entrance was above ground level and there was no escalator, so it was a bit of a hassel to move our suitcases up there.

Negative Erfahrung: Da es hier keinen Service gibt, kann man ihn auch nicht bewerten. Die Zimmer werden nur einmal pro Woche gereinigt. Das Personal am Empfang spricht, wenn überhaupt, nur wenige Worte Deutsch. Für eine Unterkunft in der Deutschen Bundeshauptstadt nicht akzeptabel. Es scheint sich um branchenfremde Studenten zu handeln. Zum Stadtzentrum braucht man mit der S-Bahn/Bus eine halbe Stunde.

Negative Erfahrung: The toilet was not cleaned when we arrived, and we had to ask for them to be cleaned the next day. Other than that it was not a bad experience up until the last minute at check out when the receptionist was rather rude when I informed him that the rooms where not cleaned during our stay. Apparently they are cleaned after 7 days for environmental reasons. I understand that everything doesn't need to be cleaned or changed so quickly, but I think it does no harm to the environment to take out the trash which is piling up in the room or to put new toilet papers in the bathroom. That's just using environment as an excuse to save on basic hotel services. This excuse gets more ridiculous when the rooms are overheated to the point of not being comfortable. Of course you can decrease the heating in your room, but when you visit some common spaces you can't help it. I think if the environment is important, then this unnecessary heating is the first thing to be solved, but after saying this the receptionist was rather rude and dismissive. There was also no fridge in the room which means you constantly need to buy cold water from the machine in lobby, and after an hour in the room the water is warm. Moreover the rooms had some problems: the shower drain was clogged and we had to ask for it to be fixed (which was fixed in a few hours, so that was at least positive) or the toilet paper holder was broken and kept falling which was annoying. The restaurant was nice with very friendly staff, the other 2 receptionist which we met were also very kind and informative and the location is good, therefore the 2 stars.

Nosotros llegamos de noche y estaba Lorenzo quien fue muy amable .. en explicarnos donde se encontraba nuestro piso de habitación .. Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich habe in den Feedback's gelesen, das zu wenig Schrankfläche da wäre. Das kann ich nicht bestätigen. Ich war allein in einem 2 Bettzimmer und hatte 3 Schränke mit je einer Kleiderstange und 2 Ablagebrettern drin. Das würde mir für 2 Pers. reichen. Zusätzlich hatte ich Wasserkocher, Microwelle und Geschirspüler etc. im Zimmer. Also ich war überwältigt. Alles sauber, stylisch und preiswert. Jederzeit wieder. Danke allen, die zu dem Angebot beitragen.

Positive Erfahrung: Preis Leistung Top - Zimmer haben alles was sie brauchen und das für unglaublich 63€ pro Nacht. Leider ist es sehr auserhalb Berlins - vom Zentrum ca. 35 Min mit der Buslinie M 41. Aber alles gut machbar. Frühstück kann man an der Bar bestellen oder vorbuchen, ein sehr netter Angesteller bei der Bar. Rezeption nicht immer verfügbar. Alles sehr Anonym. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Aldi und ein Bäcker

Fantastische Erfahrung: The hotel is amazing and clean, the gym is tiny but comfortable and works. I didn't get to try the food, I just wish there were more toiletries in the bathroom, since I hadn't brought anything, there was only shower gel.

Positive Erfahrung: Zuerst das plus: Sehr zentral und Zimmer waren ok sauber. Allerdings ist dies kein Hotel sondern ich war in einem Appartement untergebracht mit Küchenecke, die ich nicht brauchte. Negativ: Scheinbar werden diese Zimmer sonst an Langzeitbleibende vermietet. Vom Aufbau erinnert das Haus eher an Studenten Buden in den usa auf einem Collage, trotz moderner Optik. Mein Zimmer lag direkt neben einer der vielen Feuertüren der unendlich langen Gänge ohne Fenster. Nachts sehr laut. Niemand vom Personal ist dort zugegen. Als alleinreisende Frau war es unangenehm da ein paar dubiose Leute dort gehaust haben. Das Gym hab ich deshalb abends nicht genutzt. Die Matratze war ok, aber die Bettdecke und Kissen sowieso Bezüge eher schlechte Qualität. Ich hatte zudem ein Jucken und hab direkt Panik wegen irgendwelcher Viecher bekommen. Insgesamt würde ich für den Preis vermutlich eher etwas anderes probieren, 100€ die nacht war nicht wenig. Ich bin vermutlich nicht die Zielgruppe.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Il mio soggiorno di 6 mesi al coliving The Base di Berlino è stata un’esperienza che porterò per sempre con me. Questo periodo è stato molto più che semplice vita quotidiana: è stato un viaggio di crescita, scoperta e connessioni. Ho avuto l'opportunità di conoscere tante persone straordinarie con cui ho condiviso momenti indimenticabili, e questo è stato sicuramente uno degli aspetti più belli della mia permanenza. L’appartamento in cui ho vissuto era confortevole, funzionale e ben curato. E il complesso in generale era moderno, con spazi comuni ben progettati che creavano un’atmosfera accogliente e stimolante (penso ad esempio all'area coworking e alla palestra). Un elemento che ho apprezzato particolarmente sono stati gli eventi, che hanno arricchito ulteriormente questa esperienza. Vorrei fare un ringraziamento speciale a Lorenzo, che con il suo instancabile lavoro ha coordinato e organizzato attività sempre coinvolgenti e ben pensate. Grazie alla sua passione e dedizione, gli eventi sono stati un’occasione unica per socializzare e vivere momenti di svago e condivisione. E, al di là degli eventi, sia lui che il resto della staff sono sempre stati molto disponibili a rispondere alle mie richieste e ad intervenire laddove necessario. Grazie, The Base, per aver reso questi sei mesi un periodo così speciale!

Positive Erfahrung: I stayed at the Base Berlin twice. Excellent location, great customer service, convenient self-check-in, common kitchen area and dedicated working space, everything you might need for your stay. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant issue with the room during my last stay. The manager and the hotel staff took measures the next day, were accommodating, placed me in a different room, and refunded my some booked days. I really appreciated the gesture, and measures taken, but unfortunately, I still did not get the refund up until today after an exhausting and unnecessary back and forth between the hotel the booking.com (through which I booked initially) and numerous follow-ups. The hotel said the refund is with Booking, Booking says I should contact the hotel… Was such a waste of my time and energy, so I gave up. Not following through the refund processes is not cool, I think, even if the hotel was booked via external platforms, I still think that it is the hotel’s responsibility to make sure the customers do not have to chase their money back trying to contact sides for months. Hence —⭐️

Fantastische Erfahrung: We have stayed at the base for 3 months, and we’re so grateful that it was our first home in Berlin. Rooms are clean, modern-style. The most basic room was a little small for 2 but still quite cozy and nice. Excellent service and staff were all friendly! Enjoyed the gym, cinema, and community events so much! And the location was perfect for us to walk to S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and tram. Very convenient.

Negative Erfahrung: Wirklich gemischte Gefühle. Es war nach vielen Hotels das gefühlt erste, wo man gefühlt, auf sich selbst gestellt ist. Mag sein, dass es fürs CoWorking super funktioniert, für mich persönlich nicht wieder. Das Zimmer selbst ist großzügig ausgestattet und groß. Der Ort und das Gesamtgefühl hingegen fällt nicht positiv aus. Gefühlt muss man alles selbst vor Ort hinzubuchen.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Solide 5 Sterne Das Hotel ist nur 5 min fußweg vom Rathauscenter pankow entfernt wo man auch direkt Anschluss zum övpn hat . Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Check in sowie der Check Out gingen sehr schnell das Zimmer war auch in einer tollen Verfassung zusammen gefasst ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Positive Erfahrung: Sehr gemischte Erfahrung. D.h. Organisation schlecht, dafür Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Warum? Wir hatten weit im Vorfeld ein großes Zimmer im Hotelbwreich gebucht. Das gebuchte Zimmer war am Tag der Anreise nicht bereit, d.h wir haben eingecheckt und die Zimmerkarten bekommen, aber das Zimmer war nicht gemacht: Müllereimer voll, Handtücher auf dem Boden und Bett noch vom Vorgänger zerwühlt. Wenn nicht jemand an der Rezeption gewesen wäre, wäre wir mit dem eigentlichen vorgesehen elektronischen Check-in richtig aufgeschmiessen gewesen. Der freundliche junge Mann an der Rezeption könnte uns nach einiger Zeit ein Ersatzzimmer im Appartement Bereich anbieten. Hier hat dann leider die Heizung nicht funktioniert, werder im Zimmer noch im Bad. Das am 25. Dez.Am nächsten Tag haben wir einen Heizlüfter bekommen. Die Heizung hat auch nach 5 Tagen nicht funktioniert. Angeblich war sie erst in der Woche vor Weihnachten von einer Fachfirma überprüft worden. Das kostenlose Frühstück am einem Tag war eine nette Geste, aber lieber wäre uns ein Zimmer "wie gebucht" gewesen. Bei dem Preis erwarte ich, dass die Dinge funktionieren. 5 Tage kein Zimmerservice ist bei dem Preis auch nicht akzeptabel. Die Lage ist gut, mit guter Anbindung an die Öffentlichen (5 bis 12 Min. Fußweg). Das Frühstück war von Preis, Qualität und Menge her ok. Wobei ich nicht verstehe, warum man bei dem Preis die zweite Tasse Kaffee / Tee extra bezahlen muss.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Hotel moderno e molto accogliente, in zona semi-residenziale tranquilla, a 2 minuti dalla fermata del Tram e a 10 minuti dalla stazione della metro Pankow (in pochissime fermate sei al Mitte). Fantastische Erfahrung: Angenehmes Apartmenthotel mit einfach ausgestatteten Zimmern. Wir haben während des Aufenthalts sogar mit Frank Plätzchen gebacken (Omas Rezept, richtig süß) wenn ich wieder beruflich nach Berlin komme weiß ich wo ich nächtigen werde. Kann man guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich hatte einen unglaublich angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Alles ist sauber und wirkt wie neu. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach perfekt, um sich zu entspannen. Negative Erfahrung: I give 1 star and not 0 for good people who work where ( I hope none of them involved in this ridiculous situation) My deposit was not returned in promised 6 weeks. And it was pretty hard to get any proper feedback from the Base After I finally got a feedback, I was told to wait for 5 more business days and all gonna be set and that this is their priority. Its been now 10 additional business days and still nothing. So I've been waiting for deposit return 8 weeks now.

Positive Erfahrung: This place could be so good ...... but: 1. Tea/coffee making facilities in rooms are needed 2. A fridge in rooms would make a big difference 3. Some drawers for clothes is not too much to ask either.

Fantastische Erfahrung: First of all, thanks to Carlo, Vishnu, Lorenzo, Daniel, and all other amazing staff at The Base for making my long stay such a wonderful experience. I lived here for 1 year and here my opinions; - The Base have insanely big and 24/7 available shared areas. If your room is 20 m2, you will feel like living in 200 m2 home. -Rooms are designed very well, so many storage available, you would not believe how much stuff you can fit into your room. And if you need more space you can rent a storage inside of building for a fairly cheap price. -I suggested an improvement to make it easier to get in and out of the bike room, and they immediately sent a technician to do it. Its amazing there is a technician all the time available for if you have any issue in your room. Any other place in Berlin you would need to wait 2 weeks or something. -Heating was very good for the entire winter. -Apart from the kitchen you have in your room, there is a shared kitchen named Mexican Kitchen that you can use anytime which is very big and luxury. -There is a high-end, top-quality coffee machine you can use for free, and it is maintained by the staff at all times. -Cold water and cold carbonated water are available for free 24/7. - There are so many events in the community and so many areas you can work, talk with friends, meet with new people. - The gym is good, not as big as a commercial gym but it has almost everything you need. Having a gym in the same building really helps you stay consistent with your workouts. Everything I’ve mentioned has been positive, and honestly, I couldn’t think of anything negative to add. The Base provided a truly unique experience. If you ever have an issue, there’s always someone available 24/7 to help solve it. I truly recommend to stay here.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Abbiamo alloggiato nell'hotel per tre giorni e ci siamo trovati molto bene, personale gentile e preparato, menzione speciale per Lorenzo alla reception sempre molto presente e yiannis alle colazioni. Stanza moderna e pulita. Posizione tranquilla e comoda per arrivare al centro. Super consigliato.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Alles super, modern und zeitgemäß. Kontaktloser Check-in funktioniert gut. Leider gab es im Zimmer keinen Kleiderschrank. Für längere Aufenthalte sicherlich schwierig.

Negative Erfahrung: Probably the worst experience I've had while traveling. I travel a lot to Berlin for work so I have stayed at this hotel a couple times before. First time all went well, Second time I came in winter and the room was extremely warm, I could not regulate the temperature in the room, and there was no hotel staff to help me, had to open the window and let the negative temperatures outside cool down the room while I tried to sleep. Also on the same trip a cleaning lady took my book, but that got returned later. Third time was by far the worst, and why I don't recommend anyone in staying here, I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm to do check in, and at this time I have to do self check in since no one is at the front desk, the problem was that the machine was not working and I could not check in. So I called the 24 hour support number and I got in contact with someone that tried to help me and understand what was wrong, after 20 minutes they realized they could not do anything except get someone there to fix the issue so they told me they were calling someone else to come and help. He asks a bit of patience and he would call me again soon. Soon never came, I waited 2 hours, no one called me back, I called them again but no one picked up 5 tries and was ignored. At this point is already midnight and there are more people with the same issue gathering next to the check in machine, yet no one is able to make it to their rooms. In the end I had to walk around Berlin in the middle of the night to find a place to sleep. Never again. Also they don't pick up the phone.

Positive Erfahrung: There is nobody there so service is a no. Check in is easy - normally. Location depends where you need to be. Public only via bus. 1st was great 2nd I got a room with a broken window sensor which means that the heating was not working...

Positive Erfahrung: I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting family in Berlin. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming at all times. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, but no facilities to make tea or coffee which I would have appreciated. Breakfast was very good and served with a smile. I will definitely return again.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Super hotel op een mooie locatie met een groot winkelcentrum en allerlei bakkertjes in de omgeving voor je ontbijt. Goede verbindingen via Pankow S/U naar waar je maar heen wilt. Hotelkamer is schoon en modern, helaas geen kluisje! Vandaar 4 sterren voor de kamer. Tegen betaling kun je bij het hotel parkeren, zeker de moeite waard omdat je in een drukke wijk met weinig parkeermogelijkheden verblijft. Zeker een aanrader!

Negative Erfahrung: Alles hat angefangen mit einem Check-in welcher anscheinend rund um die Uhr möglich wäre. Man sollte mit einem Code die Türe öffnen den ich nicht bekommen habe. Anschließend als ein Mitarbeiter nach langem telefonieren mir einen alternative Codes genannt hatte, hat drinnen das Tablet zum Check-in nicht funktioniert wo man seine Zimmer Karte selber konfigurieren muss. Ein unsauberes Zimmer mit verstopften Duschablauf war dann noch die restliche Überraschung.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Gemütliches Zimmer, unkomplizierter Check in, freundliche Mitarbeitende und ruhige Lage. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I stayed at The Base for most of October and found that it was more or less as advertised. It was a great solution for me for a temporary work stay in Berlin. The front desk was very helpful, my room was good and the facilities were all well maintained. Pankow is a very quiet and peaceful area, and you're only about 15 min on the train from Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte. I would stay again.

Positive Erfahrung: The whole service was very good and suitable for expat in short-term. Location in Pankow is amazing with both urban convenience and green areas. The price increases every 3 months is a big minus. Is was 900€ one year ago, and now it’s more than 1.2k€.

Negative Erfahrung: Schlechte Organisation und Service. Sauberkeit hätte besser sein können. Keine Barzahlung möglich, auch wenn Kartenzahlung nicht funktioniert. Keine Möglichkeit vernünftige Mahlzeiten einzunehmen. Wir werden wohl nicht wiederkommen….

Buy the colors in the room a lot of them extremely dark looking from my bed at a huge black TV screen on a huge very dark wall, A lot of black has been used, Looking out of the window Everything uniform, no green at all. Fantastische Erfahrung: Our room was modernly furnished. It was very clean and well-equipped. The only thing made us disappointed was that no one came to clean our room after one day. Yon can walk about 700m to reach public transportation. The heater is very modern and functioned well.

Fantastische Erfahrung: The Employees are very friendly and funny, and so helpful! I booked a stay but forgot to tell them we will arrive a day later. But no worries! They still were able to find a Room for us and provided a very pleasant stay for us.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Wonderful stay at this hotel. The building looks brand new so everything is clean and fresh. The room was super clean and the mattress was very comfortable. Nicely designed bathroom. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Easy check in via the self check-in kiosk. Very quiet area.

Positive Erfahrung: Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen, bietet ein akzeptables Frühstück für einen fairen Preis an. Das WLAN ist sehr schnell, wir hatten eine Suite, die auch groß genug war, inkl. kleiner Küche mit Kühlschrank, Herd und Wasserkocher. Die erste Nacht haben wir in einer Suite verbringen müssen, in der das Bett, die Laken, nach Kotze oder ähnlichem gerochen haben, sehr übel. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir ohne Problem in ein anderes Appartement umziehen... aber es war schon eine "üble" erste Nacht. Zum S/U Bahn Bahnhof Pankow läuft man ca. 15 Minuten. Problematisch ist, dass die Hälfte des Weges über der schlecht begehbare Fussgängerwege führt, das das Ziehen vom Rollenkoffer schon stark behindert. Mit einem Bus oder eine Tram näher an die Unterkunft zu kommen macht nicht wirklich Sinn, da diese nicht nach Pankow fahren.

Negative Erfahrung: Steckdosen fehlen bei den Betten Nachtlicht ist nur bei 1 Bett an der Seite vorhanden Kein Duschmittel vorhanden Notfallnummer wird in der Nacht nicht bedient, obwohl angegeben. (Reklamation wegen Lärmbelästigung durch andere Gäste)

Fantastische Erfahrung: Nur zu empfehlen! Super schönes Ambiente, gut gelegen und vorallem freundliche Mitarbeiter. Welche uns geholfen haben mit unserem Parkplatz da wir mit einem riesigen Transporter unterwegs waren. Werde ich defintiv weiterempfehlen!!

Positive Erfahrung: Schönes, modernes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Tolle Zimmer und öffentliche Räume. Leider kein Zimmerservice. The Base ist für ein junges, internationales Publikum gemacht. Es ist trotz schöner Einrichtung anonym. Personal ist kaum vorhanden und spricht teilweise kein Deutsch. Der Check-In Prozess nach 20h ist automatisiert und deshalb für nicht technik-affine Menschen ungeeignet. Vor dem Aufenthalt erhält man eine Reihe Emails, in denen aber die wichtigen Links und QR Codes nicht angezeigt werden.

Negative Erfahrung: Keine Hilfe bei Selbstbedienung Check in. Der Schlüssel, den man selber programmieren musste, funktionierte nicht - das hat meine Frau am späten Abend festgestellt, als sie ins Hotel zurück wollte. Der Abfluss im Bad war verstopft. Hab ich reklamiert, nichts wurde trotz Versprechen erledigt. Das Personal teils freundlich und sogar hilfsbereit, teils unmotiviert und hat keine Anzeigen von Hilfsbereitschaft geäußert. Continental Frühstück: Kaffee / Tee extra bestellen und extra bezahlen. Ei und Salat war nicht dabei, obwohl es bei der Beschreibung aufgelistet war Keine Toilette im Erdgeschoss, dort wo sich das Café befindet. Im Bad keine Abstellmöglichkeiten für Utensilien. Lage: nicht schlecht. Wenn man schön Frühstücken will, empfehle ich das Markt Café, ca 200 Meter entfernt.

Positive Erfahrung: I have stayed for three months at the base in munich. The base is an amazing place to arrive somewhere. Due to the community style and the events it is easy to meet new people at a new place, which makes a new start much easier. The rooms are honestly not the biggest, but due to their design they are super cozy, comfortable and on top of that modern and equipped with everything one could need. The whole team is super, nice friendly and make sure that one feels comfortable, welcome and like home during the stay. I can highly recommend the base to everyone, who is looking for a nice and uncomplicated stay for short-, as well as long term.
