MAP Sports Club - Fitnessstudio Mainz

Fantastische Erfahrung: I am a beginner. Member of the first hour and still satisfied. A concept that really works. Latest equipment, most modern design and really revolutionary - free drinks that you can refill at will. As often as you want. And not just water, but also different mineral drinks, all of which are delicious. In addition, members have the option to park for free in the Malakoff Passage car park for 90 minutes, a service that is unique. The staff is generally in a good mood and always greet you with a smile. The changing rooms are spacious and the sanitary facilities thoroughly clean. As far as I know, the women's shower cubicles are now lockable, which is why the privacy of the female members is completely granted even within the locker room. The only "drawback" - especially in the evenings it is / very very full. Partly so full that you can not "get hold of" a free cardio device in the long run, same game in the device area. However - the high number of members speaks for the quality of the studio, which is by far the best in Mainz and surroundings. Unfortunately, I can not say how the huge crowds can be encountered in the evenings. Nevertheless - keep it up!

A large area with different zones, new showers with separate separations and super great equipment invite you to Taining. I enjoy it a lot, because the audience is mixed from young to old and the staff of the club are helpful.

As the quality decreases more and more (defective equipment, constantly new employees, no parking, no real stretch area, overcrowded courses ....), I have made the search for an alternative. By chance I heard about the re-opening of the Map Sportsclub in the Malakoff Passage. The advice was very convincing, so I decided to join. Here are my decision points: 90 minutes free parking, drinks flat rate, no chain (the owner himself is on site) and qualified staff. One can only hope that it stays that way. The location on the Rhine and next to VAPIANO is of course really great! I can celebrate the opening on 01.02. hardly expect.

Positive Erfahrung: Sauna, Getränkeautomat und hohe Sauberkeit. Alles ist recht offen und weitflächig, wodurch es sehr angenehm ist hier zu trainieren. Die Geräte sind sauber, Gewichte fast immer weg geräumt. Die Trainer ordnen aber Regelmäßig das zurück was manche nicht mehr schaffen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Fantastische Erfahrung: The MAP Sports Club is the undisputed best fitness studio of the "normal" Meenzer studios. Efforted and competent staff and great facilities are available. It is not one of the well-known chains, which is why it took me and my Manneken two years at FF to get here. It is definitely a studio to stay! Only parking could really be free !!!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Great gym. Trainers all nice and competent, always at your side with advice and action. Rather a smaller studio, but it has a nicer atmosphere. There are different courses. Opening times are perfectly fine for every normal person. It can get a bit crowded at peak times, but if you are flexible and don't necessarily want to use the devices in a specific order, it doesn't bother you. Large free weight area.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I have now moved to Mainz for an internship for 3 months and I was looking for a gym, which offers monthly cancellable contracts. I had written to all of the gyms in Mainz where this is possible. Map Sports Club was the only fitness club where I was not only written back immediately but also made an offer directly. Here you notice that it is not a chain, but is managed by the owner. So the choice was already made for me. I have to say I've never been to a gym before, so I have no comparisons to other gyms. What convinced me here are the clean changing rooms, the nice staff, top equipment, the large free weight area and various other fitness equipment: from TRX bands to gymnastics rings, medicine balls, kettlebells, pull-up bars, everything is available! By the way, weight room and endurance rooms are separate, you have to walk through the Malakoff passage to change, but that always provides a bit of fresh air. I also find it very nice to meet all ages. It's not just a gym for "young people" and that makes the atmosphere very pleasant, especially because everyone is very friendly and accommodating. As for the criticism, it would be very busy at peak times, yes it is, but I don't think that's just a problem with MAP. Then you just have to wait or ask. MAP is not the biggest gym, but I managed to finish my workout in the evening. The opening times are very fair, although I was mostly there before 7:00 am, but a little waiting never hurt. Incidentally, the staff are very helpful and courteous, I was sometimes let in before the opening hours, when it was colder in the Malakoff passage. Conclusion: For me, the MAP Fitness was the first gym to set the bar very high for all other studios. I already mourn that I first have to leave Mainz and have to switch to a well-known but not so good fitness chain in another city, I am already horrified. If I come back to Mainz in a year, it will definitely be MAP Sports Club again.

Fantastische Erfahrung: The gym is complete with aerobics like treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, rowing machine and more. There's a functional exercise area and weight lifting is divided in two. At one side we have the machines and the other side the free weights. This is a bit anoying because you have to leave one section of the gym and enter again. On top of that there is another room for classes. You need your own padlock for the locker room. There are 4 showers, always enough, never had to wait.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I am totally happy with my decision in going to this GYM. Hours are reasonable. The place is clean without being too crowded. Great selection of equipment and it is not too expensive. Note: I totally got hooked up on my initial fee because of January deals. Good touch is the free sports drinks and only room for improvement would be a sauna option!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Top studio, nice and competent staff! Large taring areas and lots of equipment. As for the offer, the boys and girls seem to keep up with the times. Courses are constantly being adjusted to the latest trends, as are the devices! Jumping fitness would also be nice;). You don't have the feeling that you are not reinvesting here, as is unfortunately the case in most other clubs. Cheers

Fantastische Erfahrung: For me the No. 1 in Mainz. The fitness club is located directly in the old town of Mainz in the Malakoff Passage. I especially use the 100 square meter TRX fitness area. The value for money is right, as the contribution a Getränkeflat and 1.5 h parking is included. The trainers are competent and friendly. Therefore, one can actually speak of a Clubatmoshäre. However, I would have a note, please towel age in the showers install. This would be very helpful. Otherwise everything was great ... Keep it up ...

Fantastische Erfahrung: My favorite gym in Mainz. Super location, super team. Annual fee around 60-80€ + week fee 9€. Parking for 1,5 hours included, training plan, body analysis, bag and the bottle :)
