CrossFit^® Grenzgänger

Fantastische Erfahrung: I participated as a one time drop-in, so my review is mainly targeted to visitors. The box is located in the center of Berlin and is easy to reach by public transportation. Follow the signs to the back side of the building, ring doorbell and go down the stairs all the way to the bottom floor. The box is very spacious, which kind of compensates on the fact that being located three floors under the street level, the option of training outside is limited. There are lockers and showers, although I did not use them. I really enjoyed my drop-in visit, though I really can't know how this compares to regulars as I've met only one coach, one WOD and one group of crossfitters. To register, I sent an email and got a reply immediately. Some other boxes I visited in Berlin offered an online registration, which was slightly more convenient. However, I only paid when arriving to the box, which is an advantage in case I had to cancel in the last minute, as some other boxes don't allow this.

Phil the head coach is awesome and all of the workouts were on point. I went to both the 6 am and 7 am classes during the week and they were filled and competitive. Thanks for having me in and running an awesome box!

Fantastische Erfahrung: A very good team, the community during training, which is common for CrossFit, you notice it with every training session. The price-performance ratio is also very good for Berlin. You have a very large training area with space for both courses and free training. Since you have to mention that by now, the hygiene concept also fits.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Member here for almost 4 years. First experience with crossfit here. Never looked back. Saw some other boxes in the meantime, Grenzgänger has best equipment. Some might want a dedicated open gym area, nevertheless you can do open gym during class time, too. Great coaches, dedicated classes for Gymnastics and Weightlifting. Grenzgänger leben länger! The owner put his heart blood in.

Fantastische Erfahrung: A very large, tall and well-equipped CrossFit box. The trainers are professional and yet very friendly. The community is very nice and open to new members. Due to the fact that the training location was a theater location, the box is not only an eye-catcher from the inside and at the same time looks very authentic as a CrossFit box, but the training possibilities are enormous, the high mounting options for gymnastics rings, climbing ropes and much more.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Great box! Super coaches, very good and above all sufficient equipment. The programming is well thought out and there is a nice community. You can tell that the whole box is well organized and is managed professionally. We always like to come!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Very nice people, facility, and workout. I was greeted outside by someone leaving who helped me enter the facility. When I arrived downstairs, one of the coaches greeted me and showed me where I could drop my things and stretch. The workout was a team workout. It was challenging and fun to have a full class of people. Before and after the coaches stretched us out. Thank you, Scooby and team for making my time at your gym challenging and enjoyable. Fantastische Erfahrung: This is one of the nicest boxes I’ve been to. Great training space, entire floor is matted, there are spiral stairs to go up and get a good view of the workouts and more than enough weights, bars, and equipment. The coaches did English and German and were very mobile and strong, can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Friendly people, zero attitude. If you want a gym where people aren't spending their time flexing their muscles and taking a bunch of selfies in front of a mirror, then this is the gym for you. The owner clearly puts a premium on creating a friendly atmosphere and making people feel welcome while they pursue their fitness goals. I have no qualms about recommending them; worth every penny.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Best gym in Berlin. Open for two years, it offers Crossfit, Yoga, Pilates, Krav Maga, Boxing, and personal training. Also hosts special workshops from time to time. The community is friendly and tight-knit. Trainers are first rate. I love the fact that there are no mirrors! If you like back to basics training, this is for you.
