Fantastische Erfahrung: In my opinion the best gym. This is by no means a luxury temple with many amenities, but everything is there that is needed to keep fit and to be able to push your limits every time. The atmosphere is great, the coaches are phenomenal and the other members are usually very friendly. I can recommend the gym to anyone who wants to work on themselves without a lot of distractions and frills!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Uniquely good gym. The focus is probably on the word STRENGTH. While most gyms are now about so much other junk than simply training hard, it's very different here. Be nice and respectful and then you can do whatever you want, whatever you think will help you in strength training. Just gorgeous. The fact that the operators are all super friendly contributes to the great concept!

Fantastische Erfahrung: This is the second gym I ever went to. When I was looking for a gym to go to regularily, I wanted to have a gym to get strong. Not only with all the equipment you need (and without all the things you don't need for that), but also with both members and trainers who are into strength and with this special vibes. And it was a hit! I've visited a lot of other gyms after while on travel. But only Berlin Strength felt that right from the very first day. This is home now for a reason.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This is a fantastic gym in the heart of trendy Friedrichshain in the east of Berlin, owned and operated by the lovely Sassi and Nina. Sassi was perfectly friendly and helpful, speaking flawless English and showing me around the parts of the gym I was going to use as a powerlifter. If you're in Berlin and want to train anywhere as a powerlifter, strongman or weightlifter, then I strongly recommend Berlin Strength. They have communal changing spaces, lockers, toilets and showers. They charge €15 for a day pass, but if you're around longer, then monthly or annual costs are much better value.

A no-nonsense training atmosphere, very welcoming and helpful staff, and a selection of bars and training implements like I've never seen anywhere else. Separate room for weightlifting training (snatch and clean) too. I never buy souvenirs but I bought a tshirt to remember Berlin Strength by. 15 euro for a day pass here.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Berlin Strength is a NO BULLSH*T hometown-style gym where you can go to become a stronger, better human being. Whether you want to do olympic lifts, powerlifting, mobility, or just casually pick things up and put them back down again, this place caters to all styles and goals. The staff are friendly and try to get to know their community. They are very competent people who teach classes, seminars and workshops on topics like powerlifting, mobility, muscle activation, etc., so you have the guidance you want. They offer private strength coaching, physical therapy, massages, etc., so you get the brain gains. Also, they sell all type of goods for max gains -- I love the peanut butter they sell (and so do my work colleagues) as well as the protein bars, fruits, and their shakes are intensely delicious. Everyone has their training style -- Berlin Strength offers an empathetic atmosphere for many styles with the emphasis on physical (and mental) STRENGTH. I am grateful I found this place.

Fantastische Erfahrung: greatest place in berlin for powerlifting, weightlifting, strongwo_man and strength training in general. staff (esp. the owner-manager) is very welcoming, always helpful, badass and very nice no matter what level of experience you have. they offer coaching/personal training and beginners' strength training group seminars. also worth mentioning, this gym's got an attitude! all products are vegan and they're trying to create an anti-racist, anti-nazi, anti-homophobic and pro-refugees place. it's also queer-frequented and you'll find "stop transphobia" stickers in the bathrooms. great music on top, what else could you wish for? and for what you get—it's super cheap.

Fantastische Erfahrung: One of the few dedicated powerlifting and weightlifting gyms in Berlin, run by an amazing team that as long as I've known them has stayed true to their values (veganism, animal rights and gender equality). This might not be a very polished gym so if you're not into concrete walls, steel girders and factory feel, Berlin Strength is probably not for you. Re: equipment, you'll find cages and racks for squats, platforms for bench press, deadlifts and weightlifting. There are also free weights (dumbbells and kettlebells), a mobility area, a rowing machine, a stationary bike, a cable tower and a few other machines. If you want to improve your technique, Berlin strength has a very savvy, competent team of personal trainers and physios who will work with you on preventing injuries, prepping for competitions and just more gains. This is what makes this gym stand out. You'll find a fancier gym at a lower price but what good does a cheap, shiny gym do if your form sucks?

Do you come here if you want to learn something and do something? The first address in Berlin for powerlifters! Good music, old school ... Family ... No comparison to any fitness chain! Friendly, helpful people. Stand by with advice and action! The changing room / shower is a bit spartan, but we didn't expect it any other way ... Completely sufficient, everything else is luxury that you don't need! It's such a thing with parking ... But perfectly within the framework, city stop Then, a few more meters on foot, and I'll be ready to go Highly recommended: one of the many protein shakes! Fresh high quality ingredients for little money! Never in 7 years of training have I had such a good shake, respect! Fantastische Erfahrung: This is like a self help crossfit gym. All the equipment is there for you and the staff are awesome.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Amazing atmosphere, smallish footprint but has basically all the powerlifting and strongman equipment you'd ever need: every type of specialty barbell under the sun, bands, chains, tires, sleds, sandbags, kegs, kettlebells, dumbbells, and enough plates to sink a medium-sized yacht. Jungle-gym-esque modular central rack structure allows a bunch of different training setups. Staff is friendly, membership rates are very reasonable (cash only) and the cost of the day pass is taken out of your membership fee if you decide to join for real, which I thought was fair. Come here, lift heavy things, get covered in chalk, it's great.

Some crossfit oriented things as well. There is also a large room for various types of classes like yoga, kickboxing (?), etc.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This is a great hardcore gym for people who like to train hard. Honestly the best powerlifting gym I've ever set foot in. Owner and staff are really nice and spoke to us in English which was really helpful. Honestly recommend this gym to anyone.
