Fantastische Erfahrung: My favourite gym in Berlin! I was only in Berlin for a bit and the lovely owners let me buy a weekly pass without having to sign up to a membership like a lot of other places. Plenty of great machines and a lovely, bright space full of light. Not too busy so I always got to use the equipment I wanted and had plenty of space. Plus you get to use the sauna as part of your pass - definitely worth the money! Thanks Green Gym :)

Fantastische Erfahrung: It is a fitness studio 'from a good family'. Founded many decades ago as a studio of the Gold's Gym chain, it was renamed to promote the climate protection claim of self-expression. The great strength of this studio is the many courses on all conceivable fitness topics. Now no longer a matter of course and therefore noticed positively: Sauna and warm shower included in the contribution without a coin counter. The cloakroom and the sanitary, wet and wellness area that merges into it are in exemplary maintenance and cleaning condition. The equipment park of training equipment and free weights is well selected and extensive. There is at least one functional alternative to every device. The staff is friendly and helpful. The opening times until 11 p.m. also allow extensive device training outside of times when there are larger numbers of visitors. There is a tram stop very close by and there are several options in the immediate vicinity to do your shopping quickly at night and to have a tasty meal from different continents. Arriving by car is not recommended, as there is parking space management and the parking space situation is very tense anyway. The studio's weakness stems from its long tradition: maintenance, repairs and modernization are expensive. The device alternatives have been purchased over the past three decades. In some cases, it looks as if the existing devices had not been decommissioned. As in all the studios I have visited so far, not all cardio trainers (cross trainers/elliptical machines/ski simulators, treadmills, bicycle simulators) are really completely in order. In this studio, some of the cross trainers are simply louder than others of the same design and vibrate, rattle, and rumble when used. For the bikes and treadmills, I can write the same by comparing while listening to each other's workouts. On some of the devices with upholstery, the covering of the upholstery is damaged or broken (discolored, cracked) - the positive thing is that the renewed upholstery is easily recognizable by the excellently executed repairs and the much more durable materials. To what extent the felt floor covering under the very sweaty cardio equipment is hygienically sensible depends on the use of vacuum cleaners for daily studio cleaning. The showers would probably also be grateful for new shower heads - currently the water economy is a bit exaggerated.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Very informal and friendly staff. It is the fitness club for the neighborhood. I go there for the classes.

Positive Erfahrung: The studio tester - RvM Quality Testing: Overall difficult to evaluate: One calls oneself among other things therefore GreenGym, because on a handful of cardio machines there is the possibility, e.g. Charge his phone with the electricity produced by the cardio equipment. The electricity used in the gym also comes from "Greenpeace Energy", according to the company. But that's about it when it comes to GreenGym. As far as the equipment is concerned, everything you need is there, but it's really getting on in years. Those who prefer a rather smaller gym with a lot of daylight will get their money's worth here, but those who have imagined something “more impressive” under GreenGym could quickly be disappointed. Due to the maintenance condition and the somewhat insignificant interior design, the price for the studio seems a bit excessive when you consider what you can get for your money elsewhere. Therefore you can only give value-neutral 3 stars here and unfortunately you have to refer to take a look yourself to see whether the offer might suit you personally.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I give 5 stars today, as it was confirmed again during the corona period that I made the right choice here. People keep the shop going and a concept for keeping healthy is implemented that I can live with. The staff is always approachable and supports the exercises with good advice and draws attention to errors. For my needs, I find everything I need in the club. And surely you can go to the sauna again next year. The corona-related closing time is of course added to the runtime, at no extra cost. Thanks a lot

Fantastische Erfahrung: The coaches - both in the courses and in the training area - are highly professional, with sound experience. Friendly and attentive atmosphere, one likes to go there. The studio itself could use a renovation, but everything is clean!

Positive Erfahrung: Typical fitness club without big extras. The appliances and rooms are not the newest, but okay. The contracts are reminiscent of the conditions of contracts with mobile operators (notice periods 3 months before the end of the contract, otherwise automatic renewal by 12 months, or 1 month before the end of the contract, otherwise automatic extension by 3 months) and include additional fees such as an annual care fee of 29 € (lol ?) - is not that you do not already pay up to 64 € per month for membership.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Small, cozy and with a very friendly staff. It has good courses standing out Zumba. Ideal to escape from the big and crowded gymnasiums of Berlin. I recommend your visit.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Independent gym with good equipment and courses and pleasant atmosphere. I train regularly on equipment and attend various yoga classes and am very satisfied with both. Sure, the devices are not the latest craze, but always clean and fully functional. And they form a good overall equipment for all body parts. I have always experienced the employees friendly and incidentally have taken over the contract of my wife.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I've been going to the Green Gym in Prenzlauer Berg for ten years now. For me, the gym is the absolute place for fitness in Berlin - especially if you don't feel like overflowing testosterone stalls. Very nice location with a pleasantly relaxed and yet also concentrated atmosphere to do sports. The equipment pool offers everything you need for cardio and strength training. There is also a wide range of courses. The staff at the counter are always polite, friendly and willing to help. The trainers are cool, very competent and experienced. The crew cabins are always clean and tidy. Excellent price-performance ratio. Top!

Fantastische Erfahrung: For a reasonable contribution you get everything that is necessary for training. No matter which training goal is pursued, with the coaches the individual way can be discussed. In addition to a good training plan you can also get valuable nutrition tips and the service staff provide a pleasant atmosphere.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This is one of the best gyms I have ever been to (and I have seen quite a lot all over the world). Whatever it is you are looking for: competence of instructors, equipment, variety of high quality courses, diversity of people, location and last but not least: unique atmosphere and "very much Berlin" ! And use of sauna is included,too. It is definitely worth the money.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Very nice, almost family-style gym - never crowded and with a good course offer, in which there are suitable times for everyone. I have been a member for almost two years!

Fantastische Erfahrung: I am now training for six months in the Greeengym and have never regretted the registration. I was looking for a studio away from the big chains and found here one with a very pleasant atmosphere and nice members / staff. The courses and general training possibilities are in line with my expectations.

Positive Erfahrung: Lots of machines, but many of the weights machines are quite old. Also the gym is quite hard to find and not very well signed! It is up the back through two courtyards, on the right through some grey/black doors. Then go up to level 3 in the lift (or up the stairs). Important: You cannot wear your street shoes to the gym, you must change shoes when you get to the gym - so make sure you bring another pair with you, or you will not be allowed in. :) Also, they make nice protein shakes for you for a few Euro. You can get them to "takeaway", too! Very yummy :)
